FAQs
How can I as a teacher benefit from Unite!?
You can create collaborative courses or joint Master's programmes with peers from other Unite! universities, give a lecture abroad, offer your online course to students from other Unite! universities, and increase your teaching competence with Unite's pedagogical trainings and toolkits.
Are there any funding opportunities available through Unite for faculty and staff?
Unite! offers financial boost for collaborative ideas from teachers, researchers and students across the alliance. With the Unite! Seed Fund we want to activate the co-creation of e.g. joint research projects, study offers, blended intensive programmes, and long-term collaborations in teaching and/or research units across the Unite! universities. The call is open once a year. LINK to more information on the new Unite! website
Do you support mobility if I go and teach in another Unite! university?
Course organizers are often looking for professors in partner universities to give a guest lecture in a specialized topic, or to help facilitate a collaborative course. These guest lectures can be organized online or on site. For a bigger role in collaborative courses, a teacher exchange can be arranged. Unite! does not directly fund the mobility, but Erasmus+ offers mobility funds for teacher exchange and staff mobility. Check the opportunities with your own university.
