Unite! Launches New Website

The new website of the European alliance Unite!, offering an improved user experience, features a segmented structure tailored to different audiences and showcases the progress of ongoing projects as well as various training and research catalogues. The new platform was officially presented during the XI Dialogue in Barcelona.

The Unite! university alliance has launched its new website, conceptualized by the Unite! communication team, led by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC). One of the most notable features of the new platform is the four landing pages, designed for its key audiences: students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff. Through these pages, more specific and relevant content is provided for each university group, highlighting how they can engage or participate in the activities of the Unite! alliance.

The new sections include:
The Resources Hub, offering tools, guides, and materials developed by Unite! communities, filtered by audience.

Catalogues for Students (courses, Joint Programs, master's, Ph.D. programs, MOOCs) and Training for faculty and administrative staff, as well as the Shared Research Infrastructure Catalogue and Projects and Research Lines Catalogue, promoting collaboration between teams and researchers. These contents, displayed on the website, are managed through the Unite! Agora platform, developed within the framework of the European AUPaEU project, which enhances the user experience by presenting information about the offerings through various filters and in the languages of the alliance's universities.

Testimonials from members of the Unite! community, sharing their experiences and opinions about the Alliance, emphasizing the values of cooperation, innovation, and inclusion that inspire the work of Unite!.

The new structure reflects Unite!’s core values, such as innovation, internationalization, cooperation, and inclusion, always with a forward-looking approach and a focus on collaborative work between member universities. Additionally, it allows users to track the progress and results of projects, with a special section for news and resources to highlight the impact generated by Unite!. The values of diversity and multilingualism are embedded in the ability to consult training catalogues for students, faculty, and staff in the different languages of the member universities.

This optimization consolidates the website as an accessible, inclusive, and attractive entry point for the entire community, while also increasing the visibility of the alliance among its audiences. The new website features a design accessible from any device, with special attention to the mobile version, ensuring an optimal experience for all users.
The new website was developed by the Unite! Strategic Communication Team (SCT), led by the UPC, with technical support from UPCnet, associated partner of the alliance.
